My happiness

I really wanted to create something for a friend but I can't seem to finish this the way I wanted.

the plan - I want a fuschia and yellow color scheme

The pattern was messy and awkward *sigh*
I eventually sprayed the whole canvas with fuschia, so its now orange instead of yellow, oh well

Photo-grabbed from her FB, happy birthday Belay!

We found Love

At long last, I made another canvas LO sized 18"x18"

This is a gift to a friend that she has been asking me before, so I finally did it!

The process...

I gathered my materials, way back last week of January this year.

Two weeks ago, I decided to use a lot of stencils and drafted the design

After all the gesso, texture paste and using mist (this time I used a paint brush instead of directly misting)

My initial placing

I'm not too happy with my painting but I guess it worked out fine because the birthday girl loves it!

I'm halfway to my Lalaloopsy mini dollhouse part two but I don't like the way it's turning out, so let's see ;)

Random doll crafts

It has been a while yet again, I thought I'd just share some random doll/toy stuff I've created.

Here's a hat/round bag for my doll.  I made it to match her outfit.  Basic material are 2 pcs of juice caps that I covered with scrap fabric.

And yes I still make doll clothes once in a while, like these girls are wearing.

And I'm still into miniatures so I made this wall shelf/hanger using popsicle sticks, pinch clips and sticks.

Then I made a standing shelf as well.

I wish I can find time to finish my mini Lalaloopsy doll house so I can move forward to create other display boxes and dioramas.

Meanwhile here's my completed playroom for Jessie.  It will stay this way for a few months I guess, until I can think of other diorama idea.

Wonderful life 2015

Happy New Year!  I still can't grasp that it's now 2015! My blog has come a long way since I started in 2006, though I don't post often, I still believe someone is taking time to visit and look at my projects.  So thank you for the visit!

Here's another mini album/journal book I did for a friend. Size is 6x6 so I can maximize the 12x12 papers. I created a lot of empty spaces so she can freely add photos and journaling.

additional note papers she can write on

Hidden tags/notes

I need to create another canvas LO very soon, I hope I get the mojo to start.

A fairytale

I made another mini album, this time with photos! It's a gift for a dear friend who is getting married very soon!

I made around 20 pages

Simple cover with stickles, flowers and pearls

As always I added charms, letter initials from Heidi Swapp and a wood "LOVE" from Prima

I just saw this stamped image from my stash but I don't own the stamp, perfect for this album!

City of Love

A very old rub-on, love the imperfection ;)
I love adding transparencies randomly

Those letter stickers are lovely, I've kept them all these years ;)

When will I ever find my own? =P
