Happy memories mini

Bit by bit I'm accomplishing my pending projects.  Plus less scrapbook supplies from my stash, yey for that!

This is before I modpodged the whole cover and back for durability :)

I use vellum to break the monotony of kraft pages

Played with my stamp and paper shapers

Random stickers and embellies

added photo corners so it's easy to slot the photos

random paper goodness :)

Con-tenora scrappers

We call ourselves con-tenora, an inside joke that we are a team in the choir pit against the tenors LOL.

Anyway since yesterday was a public holiday, I invited my friends for a scrappy session.  It was a slow start but eventually they were able to create their own masterpiece.

I just taught them the basics for adding mists with stencils for an artsy effect.  Thankfully I have stocks of B5 sized canvas that they were able to use. My instaxshare printer came in handy for the photos they used, just the right size!

I love how their canvas blend in together!

I have no intention to scrap, but I did try.  Eventually I opted to finish one of my long overdue in-progress LO.

Hopefully we can do this again =)

Goodbye Two Peas

Two Peas was where I started connecting with scrappy people all over the world.  It was a place where I also learned to hone my craft, joined challenges, met new friends, posted my projects and appreciated for what I can do.

This is the place where I come to know the acronyms TFL and IRL ;)
898 forum posts and 200 projects posted... I'm honored to be a BucketHead!
Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Live your life

With too much stress at work, add on the aging factor thus the inconsistency.  I spoke too soon on my last post's indulgence LOL

I've been procastinating on this project and our speedpost was not speedy enough to reach UK in time for this beautiful young lady's 18th birthday. *sigh*

Here's the cover of the supposed guestbook.  I'm having trouble on the hollywood theme so I just decided to make it glitzy, sparkly and golden.
As always I added ribbons and charm

gold peel stickers, heat embossed the edge of the background cs with gold

plain white paper flowers, painted with gold and dipped into glitter flakes

The pages are sized 12x6, bound by my ever reliable Zutter.
played mostly with my stamps

stickers and notecards, i used Zutter for the border to look like a film
using Unity Stamps, heat embossed

background page is from Hambly

My cutterpede and my cutterbee are nearing their retirement, I was wondering if I should buy the same brand or opt for other brands.  Tim Holtz scissors maybe, WeRMemory keepers trim and score board maybe?

You make my heart sing

A little self-indulgence if you may... I've been amazed at my speed of creating a project nowadays as compared to the past.  Well maybe because I don't over think and just go with the flow.  But there are other projects which I tend to delay just because LOL

Here's an 18x18 canvas LO for my colleague.  She likes pink and it's great because  the similarity with my last LO is obvious.  So I was able to use the scraps from the last project and just added a few more embellishments.

Webster and cosmo cricket papers

still loving my jars
I'm leaning towards canvas nowadays, I like the textured feel and the idea of hanging it by itself without a frame.

Here's how I composed the LO, I followed as is with very minor modifications.
