A child in me
Who doesn't love toys? We grew up pampered by our parents with toys, cheap or a bit pricey. My mother would never come home empty handed after coming from the market. She herself loves dolls and she gladly plays with me when she has the free time. She used to sew dresses for my dolls especially my Barbie dolls. It wasn't really hard for me to convince her to buy me the popular dolls of my era like the Rageddy Anne, Monchichi and Cabbage Patch.
When I came here in Singapore, it was my turn to pamper her with her collection of dolls. I bought her Barbie dolls, Bratz among others. All her collections are prominently displayed in our living room, a sweet reminder of my Mama.
I managed to resist my cravings to buy the Sylvanian dolls, but the cuteness of Lalaloopsy is really irresistible.
So here are my mini Laloopsy dolls!
I just altered a wooden box I bought from daiso with MM paint and Amy Tangerine fabric paper. All the furnitures are also from Daiso I bought a long time ago. Remember this project... I can't find anymore of these furnitures. *sigh*
Waking up in the morning seeing them on my wall brightens up my day =)
So what are your current cravings?
TGIF!

Leslie's baby shower
A happy Sunday afternoon!
It was another fun party with our friends to celebrate the coming of Baby Lara to Dex and Leslie's family.
Late last year we told Leslie that we're throwing her a baby shower and I suggested a pink and purple party which she approved. Due to some personal reasons I wasn't able to organize the party early on, she's due to give birth any moment so we're whispering to Baby Lara don't come out yet til we're done with the shower party.
Since I had the freedom to choose a theme, I decided to go for a teddy bear party and Jinky was thrilled to do a teddy bear themed cake! But wait, I told her it's a teddy bear riding on a hot air balloon. Challenging but spells cuteness!!!
The making...

| Diaper cake (made by Cel), I used my Fuji Instax Camera to take instant photos for the guest book |
The bucket is recycled from a Maltesers, concept of a hot air balloon display inspired from here.

| Teddy bear key chains (from Blue Magic) as souvenirs with stamped tags again colored with soluble crayons. |

Revamping
for the nth time! For blogspot users out there, what do you think of the dynamic views? I did want to try but re-doing my links would be time consuming... unless there's an easy way? I'll explore on this further before I take that leap.
So much has changed in the scrapbooking industry... only the big ones remain like American Crafts, Making Memories, Prima to name a few. And all of them have ventured beyond paper craft with jewelry crafts and home decors among others. And sad to know that Sassafras Lass is no longer in the industry..
More than half of the challenges linked to my sidebar bid their goodbyes and most scrapbookers I've linked have forgotten about their blogs. So I cleaned up a bit ;), plus I added the pin it button I got from here.
Then there are those "issues" I read about one of my fave scrapper Keisha Campbell. Indeed what are the limits beyond scraplifting? I read both sides and I may sound biased since I adore her, but I guess the other party crossed the line.
Not far from this issue... did you know that my post about the "Smurf party" was the most viewed in my blog?
Though my creations are not my original ideas, it's a composition of all the inspirations I surfed in the web with my personal touch of course *winks*
So I try my very best to link those people who shared their ideas whenever possible.
What are all these ramblings you might ask?
Because I am one of those "scrapbooking people" LOL
My latest attempt for another party decorations for a baby shower is coming soon!!!
So let me say this...
Note: This is a spoof the phrase I read from a party planner's blog, hers is a glue gun ;)
Have a happy Thursday!

A little birdie told me...
Yey! A card!
I was jealous of my friend who is recently on a roll updating her blog with her yummy creations. I'm complaining to her that my blog is on a halt due to lack of creations to share. So I lurked some blogs and found inspiration via Moxie Fab's Tuesday trigger.

Aint this stuffed house hanger a cutie!
I was inspired by the house as a hanger and of course the little birdie. So happy to find old paper scraps from my stash and as always I love incorporating tags to my card so I made a pull-out tag for the personal message.
Thanks for dropping by!
