Goodbye Two Peas

Two Peas was where I started connecting with scrappy people all over the world.  It was a place where I also learned to hone my craft, joined challenges, met new friends, posted my projects and appreciated for what I can do.

This is the place where I come to know the acronyms TFL and IRL ;)
898 forum posts and 200 projects posted... I'm honored to be a BucketHead!
Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Live your life

With too much stress at work, add on the aging factor thus the inconsistency.  I spoke too soon on my last post's indulgence LOL

I've been procastinating on this project and our speedpost was not speedy enough to reach UK in time for this beautiful young lady's 18th birthday. *sigh*

Here's the cover of the supposed guestbook.  I'm having trouble on the hollywood theme so I just decided to make it glitzy, sparkly and golden.
As always I added ribbons and charm

gold peel stickers, heat embossed the edge of the background cs with gold

plain white paper flowers, painted with gold and dipped into glitter flakes

The pages are sized 12x6, bound by my ever reliable Zutter.
played mostly with my stamps

stickers and notecards, i used Zutter for the border to look like a film
using Unity Stamps, heat embossed

background page is from Hambly

My cutterpede and my cutterbee are nearing their retirement, I was wondering if I should buy the same brand or opt for other brands.  Tim Holtz scissors maybe, WeRMemory keepers trim and score board maybe?

You make my heart sing

A little self-indulgence if you may... I've been amazed at my speed of creating a project nowadays as compared to the past.  Well maybe because I don't over think and just go with the flow.  But there are other projects which I tend to delay just because LOL

Here's an 18x18 canvas LO for my colleague.  She likes pink and it's great because  the similarity with my last LO is obvious.  So I was able to use the scraps from the last project and just added a few more embellishments.

Webster and cosmo cricket papers

still loving my jars
I'm leaning towards canvas nowadays, I like the textured feel and the idea of hanging it by itself without a frame.

Here's how I composed the LO, I followed as is with very minor modifications.

I was ecstatic when a friend of mine offered me to watch Eat Bulaga live.  Though I watched their show here in Singapore at that time Ryzza Mae show was not yet conceptualize.  I really wanted to meet this adorable girl in person, and yes it's in my bucketlist ;)

So I created this canvas LO for her as a gift.

My housemate picked the photo to go with the LO because I don't have a picture in mind when I did this LO.

Funny thing is I was able to print the photo only the night before since I'm having problems with the photo shops that are unable to accept my thumbdrive.

During the show I was reluctant to show my LO then finally before the Ryzza's show ended I displayed it on my lap and a staff noticed it.  They asked me to go down the stage and give it to her personally.  Her eyes were all glued to this project so I just gave her a kiss on the cheek and went back to my seat.

I think she liked it as she was holding onto it the whole ending segment.  I couldn't be happier.

Finally another scrappy project!

Actually this is my second mini album for the year, I forgot to take a photo of the first one I did last Feb.  Most of my friends are now moving forward to another journey, they either migrate to other countries or retire back home for good.  Change is inevitable, my time will come ;)

Here's a little memento to remember the good times.

I love my zutter
More than 20 pages!
I love adding trinkets

We will miss them dearly

Add caption
I will remember :)
We added instax photos together with our thoughts in this mini.

I'm still honing my sewing skills in making doll clothes, more doll stuff coming soon =)
